DEATH or MR. BLOXAM.\emdash We have to record with regret the death of Mr. H A'C. Bloxam, solicitor, took place on Saturday
last. The deceased gentleman had been ill for some weeks, and we understand very little hope entertained of his ultimate recovery, but it was not anticipated his disorder would carry
him off so rapidly. Mr. Bloxam was in the prime of life and leaves a wife and four young children to lament their untimely bereavement. Tbe funeral took place yesterday, and was a
large one. The cortege left the deceased gentleman's residence just after two o'clock headed by the Oddfellows of which body, as well as of the Freemasons be was a member, to the number of between 40 and 50. The hearse followed, With the Freemasons about 30 in number, immediately behind it; and considerable array ot vehicles and horsemen formed the rear of the procession. In this manner it proceeded to the English
Church where the cortege halted, the body was taken out, and conveyed into the church, and the ordinary service on such occasions read by the Rev. Mr. Andrews. At its close the
procession re-formed as before, and proceeded to the new cemetery, where the mortal remains of deceased were committed to their long resting place. The funeral service was conducted by the Rev. Mr. Andrews, who, in an address to the
assemblage, made special and touching reference to the solemn event. The Oddfellows' funeral service was read by the G.M. Of the Lodge (Mr. Goss); the Freemasons did not perform theirs.
